MarlySoft (operated by Zakarya Atef, Egypt; “MarlySoft”, “we”, “us”) makes TillCaptain, PharmaCaptain and ClinicSmith. This policy covers this website, marlysoft.com, and the emails you send us, and it summarises how our apps handle data. Each app has its own privacy policy with the details:
In short
- This website sets no cookies, has no ads, analytics or trackers, and loads nothing from other websites.
- Data entered in our apps is stored on servers operated by MarlySoft and travels over HTTPS through Cloudflare, our network provider.
- We never sell personal data. Write to support@marlysoft.com for a copy of your data, a correction or its deletion.
This website
marlysoft.com is a set of static pages. It sets no cookies, uses no analytics or advertising tools, and loads its fonts and images from its own address, not from other websites. It has no forms and does not ask you for personal data.
The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which also runs the DNS of marlysoft.com. To deliver a page, Cloudflare receives your request with your IP address and the technical details your browser sends, such as the page asked for and your browser's type and preferred language. We use the preferred language only to show the site in Arabic or English. We do not keep visitor logs of our own. Cloudflare may keep request logs to run and protect its network, as described in Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Our apps
TillCaptain, PharmaCaptain and ClinicSmith are used in a web browser or as Windows apps, and both are clients of online services run by MarlySoft. What a business enters in them is stored on servers operated by MarlySoft. The connection is encrypted (HTTPS) and reaches our servers through Cloudflare (Cloudflare Tunnel and DNS), so Cloudflare processes that traffic as our network provider.
- ClinicSmith holds the health records that clinics enter: patients' files, visits, diagnoses, prescriptions, lab and radiology results and attached images.
- PharmaCaptain holds the patient and prescription data that pharmacies enter: patient files, prescriptions and their photos, insurance details and the controlled-drug register.
- TillCaptain holds what shops enter: products, invoices, customers and suppliers.
The business decides what it records. We process the data only to run the service for that business: to store it, show it to the business's own users, back it up and send the messages the business asks for. We do not use it for advertising, we do not sell it, and each business's data is kept apart from every other's. The apps contain no advertising, analytics or tracking tools.
Emails to us
When you write to support@marlysoft.com, your message passes through Cloudflare Email Routing and is delivered to our mailbox at Google (Gmail). We use your email address and what you write only to answer you and to handle your request, and we keep the conversation for as long as we need it for that.
Who receives personal data
We do not sell or rent personal data. Apart from the businesses that use our apps and their own users, it reaches only:
- Cloudflare, as the network provider of this website and of our apps' servers, and for routing our email;
- Google, which hosts the mailbox our email is delivered to;
- Google Fonts, only when one of our web apps has to download a font for a character its own fonts lack (your device's IP address);
- the recipients a business chooses in an app, as that app's policy describes (for example, e-receipts a shop sends to the Egyptian Tax Authority);
- authorities, when the law requires it.
Your choices
- You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, at support@marlysoft.com. Write from the email address on your account, or tell us the mobile number it uses, so we can check that the request is yours.
- App users can delete their own account in the app: Settings → Account & security → Delete my account.
- If a shop, pharmacy or clinic keeps your details as its customer or patient, ask that business first, because it decides what it keeps and may have to keep some records by law; we will help it do so.
Children
Our website and apps are made for businesses and are not directed at children. A pharmacy or clinic may keep records about patients who are children; those records are entered and controlled by that business.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new effective date.
